Twelve petunia pots planted! We continue the tradition and will be hanging them at the office again this year, matching the flowers down Central Avenue. Many thanks to Debbie with Fogbelt Growers. You can have city flower baskets, too! Debbie will be supplying some to Miller Farms Nursery. Reach out to the McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce and sponsor a flower pot and get more to hang at your home or business! Let’s make Mack Town beautiful!

Augie the Therapy Doggie was giving Kenny some pointers on how to be a great therapy dog today. Kenny is in training and looking forward to getting certified soon!

Our office dog, Augie the Therapy Doggie, makes house calls as well as school calls. This week, he visited Morris Elementary School to listen to students read him some great books.

Congratulations to Parker from Morris Elementary School for being chosen by his teachers to receive the Good Neighbor Award. He was recognized for going above and beyond and turning caring into doing. Thank you, Parker. We need more young people like you!

We LOVE supporting our community! In honor of State Farm's 100th anniversary, we earned a $5000 grant to give to a local non-profit. We chose We Are Up as the recipients. This project will build a community near our office supporting young adults with developmental disabilities, seniors, and students. They're inviting the community to learn more at an open house on the future property 144-146 Weirup, McKinleyville. Sunday, July 24th, between 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Happy Independence Day from the team at Heather Vina State Farm! Augie the Therapy Doggie actually watches the neighborhood fireworks and then barks at the rest we hear throughout the weekend.

My CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation from the American College of Financial Services came today! It represents 2.5 years of hard work. My second designation, ChSNC (Chartered Special Needs Consultant), is on the way, too. I am excited to expand my knowledge so that I may be of better service and help fill everyone's needs.
