Nurse practitioner and veteran Oko Akrong, PMHNP-BC, leads the practice and strives to provide his patients with exceptional and accessible mental health care. Mr. Oko Akrong earned his nursing degree from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois, before completing a graduate degree in nursing administration from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. He then finished his psychiatric nurse practitioner degree from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. 

At DMV Psychiatric Wellness, Mr. Oko Akrong collaborates with his patients as he navigates them through the process of getting the specific mental health care they need.
